BCANDS is very honoured and pleased to have its work within the disability and health sectors recognized both within British Columbia and across Canada. Below are a few of the Society’s recent highlights.

- 2015 - Recipient of the Canadian Medical Association's - Excellence in Health Promotion National Award;

- 2016 - BCANDS worked with the Assembly of First Nations to recognize and proclaim November 2016 as "Indigneous Disability Awareness Month";
